Things to Consider While Selecting a College

1. Size. Colleges come in various sizes from a Californian school enrolling just 26 students to schools such as Pennsylvania State that may enroll 30,000 freshmen. Which one is better depends on you. Do you wish to go to a large college or a small one?
2. Type. Not all colleges are the same. Some of them have big graduate programs and dedicate much of their resources and time to research. Others enroll just undergraduates and concentrate their attention on learning and teaching. Some schools can offer a specialty in a single area, like writing or engineering, when others are known for providing their students with a broad education. Other distinctions include if schools are coed or single sex, whether they provide a religious relationship, and if they are private or public.
3. Location. There are some colleges in each living environment you may imagine, from the middle of New York to small towns in Minnesota. When you have lived in the outskirts, selecting an urban campus may be an escapade. But after a couple of weeks of urban dirt, noise, and rude locals, they will you crave after an open space and grassy campus. When you are used to the outskirts and mall life and decide on a college in a country area, will you run shouting into the Student Center seeking for lights, noise, and people?
